3. Authentication Cookie

The Platform uses an HttpOnly session cookie (ashenden_token) to authenticate your API requests. HttpOnly means the cookie is never accessible to JavaScript — it is transmitted automatically by the browser on each request and cannot be read or stolen by client-side scripts. The cookie expires automatically after 8 hours and is cleared when you log out. It is only sent over encrypted HTTPS connections in production.

4. Third-Party Cookies

The Ashenden Finance Platform does not currently use any third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We do not share cookie data with social media platforms or external analytics providers. If we introduce any third-party cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to provide fresh consent where required.

5. Your Choices

Strictly Necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are essential for the Platform to function and for your security. For optional cookies (Functional and Analytics), you may: · Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies — please refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions. · Clear cookies at any time via your browser's settings. Note that disabling optional cookies may affect some personalisation features. Most modern browsers allow you to: view cookies currently stored, block all or specific cookies, clear cookies when you close the browser. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in to the Platform.

6. Session Timeout

For your security, the Platform automatically ends your session after 30 minutes of inactivity. You will receive a warning 2 minutes before automatic logout. This behaviour uses session-scoped tokens and is independent of cookie settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or changes in applicable law. Updates will be communicated via a notice on the Platform. We will seek fresh consent for any new optional cookies.
